What this is
The DMS portal is your read-only window into the whole UER document management system
(kimi_dms) — no File Explorer. It shows the newest revision of every
controlled document (UER, HCT, RTT) plus the plain files of the outbox, Library, and sources
branches. The DMS itself remains the source of truth; this portal mirrors it.
Finding a document
- Folder tree (left). Click ▸ to open a branch, click a folder name to list its
documents and files. The number in parentheses counts ALL documents and files in that
folder including everything below it — so the numbers always add up.
- Search (top). Type any part of a document ID or title — for example
RPT-0020 or crude oil — and the table
lists matches across the whole DMS. Clear the box to return to the folder view.
Reading a document
- Click any document row to open it: the HTML displays right in the page.
This is the normal way to read — documents are shown as HTML only, never as PDF.
- Tabs above the document switch between Document, Changelog
(audit trail) and Actions (punch list) — the companions display inline too,
and are not meant for printing.
- PDF A4 and PDF Letter generate a PDF on demand: the print view opens,
use the browser's print dialog to print or save as PDF in that paper size.
- Download PDF saves the controlled A4 PDF to your device (download-only,
by design).
Giving feedback
- Open the Feedback panel under any document. Type your comment — or press
🎙 Dictate and speak; your words are transcribed into the text box (works in
Edge; press again to stop). Review the text, then Send feedback.
- You may attach one file (up to 10 MB — photo, PDF, Office document).
- Every submission triggers an instant email alert to the operator. Earlier feedback
on the same document is listed in the panel with its status (Open / Answered / Closed).
How current is it?
Every document shown is the newest registered revision in the DMS. The mirror is refreshed
by running the crawler (tools/dms_crawl.py) and the KV push
(tools/push_docs.py) — the same doctrine as the other UER portals:
document updates never require a site redeploy. The generation timestamp of the current mirror
is part of the manifest; ask Kimi to re-crawl whenever you want the latest state online.
What is not here
- Archives (_archive*) and superseded revisions — immutable
snapshots; they stay in the DMS.
- Binary working files (Word, Excel, images, scripts) — listed nowhere; open them from the
file system if needed.
Security
Access is by Cloudflare Zero Trust one-time PIN to authorized email
addresses only (owner-only at launch). Every document request — including on Cloudflare's
internal pages.dev addresses — is checked against your signed-in session; anonymous requests
see a plain 404. A sign-in from a new browser and any refused access by a signed-in stranger
trigger an instant email alert to the operator.
